For those of you that are just finding Inspired Studios, “Hello!”  For those of you that are long-time supporters, “Thank You!”  Thank you for your loyalty and for making 2011 a fantastic year!

2012 has already been exciting!  I have already attended a Newborn Posing workshop with Jaci Forshtay near Chicago, displayed in a bridal show, and bought a new camera!!  I’d say that’s a pretty great start to 2012!

2012 has more exciting changes coming to Inspired Studios as well!  Read on!

1.)    For the first time, I’ll be offering print collections.  Some of these collections include albums as well!  I recently received my first album and let me just tell you…the albums are GORGEOUS!!  Albums can be purchased for weddings as well as lifestyle sessions.

2.)    I have already launched my new custom photo product line of removable, reusable, Inspired Studios “Wall Art.”  So far I’ve gotten a great response and I look forward to bringing this product to MANY homes (and businesses) in the local area as well as across the nation as the word spreads!  (That’s the goal anyway!) :D  You can view them by clicking the “Wall Art Pricing” link at the bottom left of this page or by visiting www.InspiredStudiosOnline.com and clicking on “Wall Art.”

3.)    I created a blog for Inspired Studios…which, of course, you already know since you are reading this!  I have wanted to create a blog for a long time and was finally able to make it happen.  Hope you love it as much as I do!

4.)    Inspired Studios will now have a Baby’s First Year photo plan.  The plan is called the “Milestone Months” plan and includes 5 sessions during baby’s first year:  newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year old.  If you enroll in this plan, you have first dibs on available appointment times during each of your baby’s “Milestone Months” so you can rest assured that each of these precious months will be captured without having to worry about scheduling.

5.)    Monthly “What to Wear” Guides will be posted here on the blog to help you with inspiration for your upcoming sessions.  Happy coordinating!  As always, I’m available for one-on-one suggestions for these important decisions too : )

6.)    Session fees WILL INCLUDE a PRINT CREDIT!!  Woohoo!!  However, session fees  no longer includes digital images, BUT digital images WILL still be available for purchase, so don’t panic!!    Though “shoot and burn (disc)” photography seems to be the “mainstream” way these days, I do not want images from Inspired Studios to be “mainstream,” but instead…unique and custom!  This change also allows customers to pick and choose only the images that they like the very most for inclusion in their purchases.  This will allow me to focus my time (and let me tell you…there’s a lot of time that goes into editing each session) on editing only the images that they love.  I hope you can understand this new policy and find value in it for both you, and Inspired Studios.  If you want to read more about the benefits of custom photography with Inspired Studios, click here:   :)

7.)    Mini Sessions will continue!  I’m planning to have a few super-fun-mini-session themes this year too!  Just as a little teaser, you can expect “Mommy & Me Mini’s” around Mother’s Day.  Tell the men in your life about it now so that you don’t miss out on this!!  If you’re anything like me, you are always behind the camera, so you probably have very few nice pictures of YOU with the kiddos :) This will be your chance!! It will also be your hubby’s chance to score some brownie points!!  :D

8.) I plan to work on growing my wedding business during 2012.  So many people have asked recently, “Do you do weddings??”  and the answer is YES!!  I’ve never publicized it much, but plan to focus on promoting wedding portraiture during 2012.

9.)   This year will see more equipment purchases as well as more workshops, lessons, and study to continue to bring you high quality portraiture with the newest techniques and styles.  I walk away from each learning activity with a greater understanding, appreciation, and LOVE for this “job” that has become my passion.
